Studio Apartment Has Limited Space

This is the beggining of my blog in the second semester for design process . The lecture gave us many topics and each group had to choose one topic to be discuss and my group choose "studio apartment has limited space" . Base on my first research the size of studio apartments in Singapore are around 400-500 square feet which combines living room, bedroom , and kitchen into a singe room . But some of the apartments has 2 bedroom . If you want to purchase a studio apartment , you must be at least 55 years old .

Street art is creative, fun and unique. Although this form of art has been increasingly been adopted for use in advertising, it’s    still remains a label often associated with artists who wish to keep their work unaffiliated and a form of personal expression. There are 3D and 2D street art. 3d Street Art, often known as 3d chalk art is 2-dimensional artwork drawn on the street itself that gives you a 3-dimensional optical illusion from a certain perspective. It can be very breath taking, realistic and at the same time captivating once you get the angle correct. And creating one is certainly through and challenging as you are creating a realistic 3d view out of a 2d painting. 3d street art are gaining much popularity these days. Notable brands are already taking advantage of public’s curiosity on 3D street paintings to create awareness for their products.

MAC Wonderwoman

I created this artwork last year for my individual project last year. My topic was cosmetic. I was inspired by pop art and by the wonderwoman collection of the cosmetics they launched in tangs. I decided to combine the wonderwoman comic strip into a design for a cosmetic product which was the compact powder.

I did this compact powder out of a huge blue board cut into the compact powder shape. Used sponge paper for the details to show the 3d effects. I cut smaller cardboard for the inner part of the compact powder and used aluminum foil to serve as the mirror of the compact powder. I also made the brush out with the wordings of the logo of MAC at the bottom of the brush and the wonderwoman logo on the top.

This photo was captured when I went to Takashimaya Orchard. I found the Peonies in a Parfume Shop. They used the flower's scents as their latest Parfume. I have always been a fan of this flower because I found them very pretty so I took a photo of it and post it on my Instagram Account. I added a filter using Landcam app for iPhone because the photo i took was too yellowish.
